The Challenge

Construction sites are a complex and sophisticated machine, with hundreds of professionals working together to bring an architectural plan to life. The smallest deviation from the plan, even just a few inches of extra cement in a wall, can cost millions and put the entire asset at risk. This is why OPEN was tasked with developing a brand for SiteAware, a company with the goal of revolutionizing the construction industry by closing the gap between plans and execution. SiteAware’s value proposition of identifying, mapping, and measuring the quality of work, and providing relevant insights to each sector, trade, and profession, needed to be communicated to a wide range of stakeholders, from the construction site to the office.
The Solution

The primary objective was to communicate not only the value SiteAware technology was bringing to each individual construction site, but also the solution it was providing to a core challenge faced by the entire industry.

To effectively convey this message, we developed the brand promise ‘Build as Planned’ and the optimistic tagline ‘Build better every day’. These two elements together communicate SiteAware’s commitment to responsible workmanship and a continuous pursuit of improvement.

The creative concept was developed in order to communicate the idea of accuracy between a plan and its realization. taking inspiration from building plans and blueprint for the grid that accompanies the layouts in each and every touchpoint of the brand, along with a precise and minimalist typographic language and graphic elements.

we the brand to life with a minimalist palette of black, white, and bright green. The green symbolizes a practical and positive approach, as well as the point of achieving optimal completion and excellence in the job.

Logo

The logo is assembled from a symbol that represents the idea of ‘from plan to its realization,’ incorporating two geometric shapes: a circle and a square. the logotype is bold yet humble using only lowercase letters.
